The Farmer’s Market, this Sunday, will be a fantastic Ashford Heritage showcase. There will be a guided Heritage Trail – at 10.30, 11.30 and 12.30. Click on the link below to gain access to the PDF leaflet.

The trail takes you from St Mary’s Churchyard to Middle Row, Lower High Street, Martyrs’ Field, North Street, Upper High Street, Castle Street, Bank Street, Victoria Park, Queen Street and back to the churchyard again to wander round Ashford Museum in the old Grammar School building. It should all take about half an hour.
There will be wooden stocks on the High Street – great for photo opportunities! Free mead sampling is encouraged … and various historical characters will be stomping around to give you a sense of Old Ashford … but in the present day.
And that’s even before you’ve gone round all the new stalls that will be set up in the Old Market Place.
The thing I’m most excited about is The Good Food Brother’s breakfast van. I can smell the bacon already ….
